Note the Phenom II X2 at medium max fps 33 minimum 9
Thats paired with a top GPU. Let me tell you 33 dipping to 9 is unplayable it would be like watching an old fashioned slide show
and that phenom is better than a dual core athlon the athlon would have a high FPS lower and minimum FPS lower so you will be stuck on LOW settings and still getting flaky performance
To play single player sure the dual cores will be fine. Single player takes under half a day to complete the game is the multiplayer
Theres alot of people on BF3 using rigs that cant run it properly.... I love them they are easy targets to knife as they simply cant react to anything by the time they see me coming I have already done them
