Go for the 5700 XT for that resolution. Make sure your PSU meets the needs of the GPU as well.

Ok that's what I have the 5700xt red devil paired with the ryzen 3900x I just didn't know what was best.

You should be close to the top of the performance heap for AMD GPUs with that config and should be fine until the next gen of AMD GPUs are released.

Do you need either? Is the 5700XT falling short?

But, if you feel you MUST upgrade, then wait for Big Navi, and see how they stack up, both in price and performance, compared to the new Nvidia cards.

I just am weird and want more lol. Or would it be better to find a cheaper 2080 ti.

Same question as King asked earlier...Do you need to upgrade? Is the 5700XT falling short?

I wouldn't recommend any side-grades at the moment. See how the new AMD releases look and then decide. There should be no immediate hurry just because new stuff is coming to market.
