I'll make this simpler to narrow it down

Micro ATX Tower

Cant run cossfire because it dumbs down the 16x pci express to 8x each and that board (nor could i find ANY atx board that supports SLI)

So im thinking either New board to support 16x SLI/Crossfire OR jsut one really good card....

Looked at the GX2's (1 card SLI) but in SLI mode it can only run 1 monitor.... i have 2 22" Samsungs....

So either if someone knows a good Micro ATX mobo thatll support SLI/Crossfire and givve vid cards

or

One REALLY good video card to run in my micro ATX case/mobo thats around $300

Well, you could think about 2 ATI HD4850, they should not be bottlenecked at 8x
pci-e 2.0 @ 8x got the same bandwith of pci-e @ 16x

Actually 4850s are very bottlenecked in a 8x configuration.

hardawarelegion did a test comparing 4850 in CF and single solotion over multiple chipsets, running it at 16x offered nearly no improvement and i guess the difference was because of the motherboards and not bandwith problems.

Odd, when the 4850 came out was when I first saw an instance where an X8 slot bottlenecks, I'll try to find the link and update.

I myself do not believe the bottlenecking benchmarks of the 8x/8x crossfire. When I had my two 4850's for like....2 days in my P45 board, my Vantage scores were only a few dozen points + below the scores off a X38/X48. If I can remember correctly my score was around 180-250 lower, might seem significant to some, but when the number is at 11000+ its not...
