Im edging towards a socket 370 PIII 1ghz? I already bought two 1ghz PIII's, but i also already bought and have been using a mobo with 2x600 mhz slot 1's, it sucks so im going to sell that possibly for a profit as it came real cheap, so are the PIII's a good idea? These are coppermine 133fsb ones.

You already have the processors, what motherboard do you have? Some of those Slot-1 boards supported overclocking the bus to 133MHz, and there are Socket 370 to Slot-1 adapters that support dual-CPU configuration.

I got a Gigabyte GA-6VTDX. Im pretty miffed though, i saw two athlon 1600+ MP's for pretty much the same price as the two pentium III 1ghz's that i got.... I really hate ebay... theres always a better deal than the one you just got...

Yes they all seem unreasonably expensive and only one or two ive seen support non-EEC memory.
