Best e2180 OC combination?

I'm wondering what the best e2180 overclocking combination would be with the ram. I'm looking for a 3.2-3.4 Ghz overclock out of it. I'm getting ddr2-800 Crucial Ballistix 4-4-4-12 ram btw.

Would it work best to downclock the ram to 667, run a 1:1 ratio with the cpu, 333X10=3.33Ghz, and try to tighten the timings? Or to overclock the ram, and do a 3:2 ratio? Which would yield better performance?

minimal difference between tighter timings and high freqency though i'm sure freqency is the slightly better one.

Heard that core2duos don't really benefit from the high frequency as much as they do from tighter timings. I could be wrong but the difference between 667 and 800 ram is not noticeable in C2D systems. However, tighter timings would be really increase the performance.

Personally I'd say find a nice balance between timings and freqency trail and error until you find out

My ram can overclock easily, that's not really the problem. What I'm trying to figure out is at which ratio it works best at.

give it a shot, run some tests and tell us what you find out.

Not trying to be rude, but I think that is the best way to know for sure, since every system is different.

Did you ever get any results from this? I just ordered a 2180 and i also have the crucial ballistix.
