APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: I Would like to purchase the parts from New Egg anywhere between November 5th and November 30th, I'm willing to Spend 2,000 but from what I'm reading I shouldn't have to.

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, Listening to music, Porn, Playing Movies, Browsing the web, Chatting Messenger systems, Burning CDs.

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard, Mouse, monitor, Speakers, web camera. I don't need anything really except the tower i guess.

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: NewEgg.com

PARTS PREFERENCES: by brand or type: I don't care about Brand, As long as it works well with the other parts and makes a sick computer.

OVERCLOCKING: I will not be Overclocking. I don't know how.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster T240. It's 24 inches. The resolution i use is 1920/1200. I would like to use its HD features.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would like to use windows 7 as an operating system(don't account for it in the price). Other then that you have free reign. My friend will be building this for me out of the kindness of his heart. I would just let him pick everything, But he said from lurking this site and posting a build of his own a while back that the expert opinions on this site were outstanding and very helpful and 2 heads are better then 1 Etc.

Thanks in advance and i truly appreciate the time you put into helping me.

Edit: Additional Information I chose November 5th as the starting date because i need the grace period to take the money out of my mutual fund.

Also Have fun with this treat it as if you were buying it for yourself thanks again <3

Thanks for that Awesome build gkay09!

Haha, yeah porn is ALWAYS important when talking about personal home computers =P

Just a question should I get duel graphics cards or is that one enough? I'm hoping to not have to upgrade for some time.

Any other builds and advice is greatly appreciated and thanks again gkay09

For most of the current games, ATI 5870 is more than enough at 1920x1200 resolution.

But if you want all the settings maxed in all games for some time to come, i'd advise you to get 2 5850s in crossfire(or 5950 which would be launching last week of Nov).

According to techpowerup, here is the summary of the performances at the resolution

5870 x2 - 100%
5850 x2 - 91%
5870 - 67%
5850 - 58%

But if your budget doesn't allow it, get one 5850 now and you can add one later.

For the RAM, what niklas has suggested is good...
Get any of these...

And itisravi has a good suggestion there about the graphic cards...
But I would still go with HD 5870 for now because it can easily max out any games @ 1080p resolution and you wouldn't have to worry about crossfire issues for sometime...So when more demanding games come out, then get another HD 5870 for crossfire...
But if you want to go full guns on the graphics front, then like itisravi said, you might want to check out the 5850X2/ 5870X2 and they should be available by end of Nov...So decide on the graphics card at the end...
