Best graphic card for E6600

I have an E6600 @ 3.2ghz on a p5w dh deluxe powered by a seasonic with 500w

I'm slowly upgrading my computer and I thought I'd start with the graphic card because i only have 150€ to spend right now and upgrading the processor would make me spend a lot more money than i want to.
So what graphic card should i upgrade to, considering the price/performance for my rig?

Forgot to say that my native monitor resolution is 1440x900 and i don't think i will be changing the monitor soon

a 7750 would be pretty good and a 7770 would be better; above that you'll start to see a bit of the cpu bottlenecking the graphics card.
nothing wrong with getting a 7850 1 gb though . . . (edit : that would be a bit of an overkill for1440x900)

I have to agree. A 7700 would be a great fit for your build. As a reference, you should be able to play Far Cry 3 on DX11, High settings with that res.
