Best graphic card with only 1x 6pin additional power input

Hello,

Since I don't wont to upgrade my case and psu (custom build, nice fit), I'm looking for the best graphic card with only one additional 6pin power plug, at a reasonable price (sub $300). My PSU should handle 75x2=150W via Y molex/sata power adapter but not much more, since it's rated 350W 85+, with 324W (24A) on the +12V rail. My current guess would be a gtx 960, but I'm far from convinced by this card. Perhaps an older model ?

Beware with that card, however- the newer gen design is the way to go with it.
The old gen have a lot of stability issues.


On a side note, the GTX 960 is a solid contender for the price range, and requirements.
I would get the GTX 960 over the 7260 if you are more concerned about gaming fps.
I would get the 7260 if you want some elbow room for overclocking.

It really comes down to preference, and usage.

Nice card, didn't know about it. Sadly, the heatpipes increase the height of the card too much - wouldn't fit. I'd say max height about 120mm. I have to mod the 6pin power cable anyway.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a video card with relatively decent power, while being smaller than that 7260, with only a single 6-pin power connector.

Honestly that's a very solid card. A close friend of mine has used that exact card for a long time now. He hasn't had any complains about it.

He's had it since a few days after it was released on NewEgg. I'm pretty sure he even paid more than that for it, but I can't be positive. He uses it in a tiny "off the shelf" office computer case, with a new PSU and micro atx motherboard.
