@addison

you gotta stop with the false statements

"No one cared about graphics till 2006"

People cared about graphics way before then especially in 2004 Half Life 2 people loved the graphics, Doom 3 People said they were waiting for that game for a long time and they were really exicted for the graphics

And as FF7 Being the best RPG I disagree (Opinion)

I Find Baldurs Gate 2 Probably the Best RPG
Chrono Trigger
FF7 or 10 (not sure what one I live more)

And you can't just say they don't know what these games are because We never even Mentioned anything about Older games I bet Most of these people Know those 2 RPG's,

Anyways This Is for "Best Graphics" Not Best RPG so Suggest a Good graphical Game Or go make another thread about "Best RPG" or something.

@addison
i remember donkey kong country on the SNES back in ... what, 1994? EVERYONE raved about the graphics of that game and couldnt believe it was being done on a 16 bit system. But, you were probably in diapers then, so its ok i didnt expect you to remember that one. ever since games have been out, companies have boasted best graphics on their systems and in their games, just because 2006 is when you were old enough to remember that doesnt mean the rest of the world was clueless until then. i remember the nes came out boasting the 8 bit graphics... omg mike tysons punch out and excite bike were the ***.
Crysis IS a killer, but that doesnt mean that it isnt a good game. part of what makes crysis such a good experience is the level of immersion gained through eye gouging visuals.

Thats Because it's an Emulation Not Ment For PC, PS1/2 Games Or any Console Game is Optimized for that certain hardware and even though that hardware compared to PC hardware is not as good, The devolpers only have to optimize it for that bassically your trying to run a PS2 Game and the PS2 Game was never optmized for your system therefore Being hard to run.

It's Called Not Being a jerk and just answering the Question Because I was curious.

If you want me to be an Ass I can.

I have Better things to do then look up non important stuff I don't really care about. I don't just sit on my computer all day and play video games. I have to work and I Spend my free time on my Computer.

They need to hire these modders to work on the real thing! I guessed all the pictures were real as it came across as a trick question. Some day all games will look like that! Here's to hope that it doesn't tke 10 years for mainstream games to look like that! I think the outdated 360 and PS3 graphics and processors are holding us back for sure!

Oblivion Morrowind Overhaul mod looks nice. Tribunal on full shaders/detail is nice with those green tilesets.

An older game called The Hunter still looks decent. You need a decent CPU and VC to play it on it's best settings, but by far one of the best looking hunting sims.

AA is a pain in the ass. Much harder to run and drops your frames by alot. Look it up you A hole if you don't believe me.

A hole huh? Here's a lesson in life; don't get offended if someone disagrees with you about something that is totally subjective just because you take things too personal instead of focusing on the true matter that you play shitty looking games.

Well, kid, it's that mouth you're kissing your mother with? You might want to watch the language sometime, or you might end up in the wrong corner.

News update: AA is not the hardest thing out there which could bring your gaming experience to its knees. You're kind of living in the past, aren't you? Look it up, if you don't believe me.

Wouldn't high amounts of Tessellation be the hardest thing? I believe that is why Metro 2033 Requires such a beast computer for Max settings and High Resolution Because it has major Tessellation. Could be completely wrong though

Oh and that's not me.

I can't really say any one game nails it completely. One effect that does stand out in my mind is from Crysis 2. They really nailed the effect of moving from inside in a low light condition to outdoors with bright light and the whole process of how your eyes perceive it as they adjust to the change. Overall it looks pretty good and they seem to have put a lot of detail on the streets and tire patterns in dirt.

Crysis was mostly surrounded by nature where one rule is common and that there aren't any straight lines in nature. Crysis 2 takes you into the urban jungle, where straight lines are law. You get two different styles that both came out quite well.

Best RPG on Sega Genesis = Shining in the Darkness

Overall? probably ff7 and baldurs gate series 😀

I have no x box live or PSN. So don't say something that's not even true. BURN

I think you pointed in another post you were gaming on PSP? Remember? Oh, and what is that supposed to mean, BURN? Are you insulting people now? Let's just keep calm, we're just talking about games and gaming here, we're not waging war.
