I'm currently looking for a motherboard that preferably has 4 ram slots and can support an i7 7700k. I don't know if I need ATX/microATX/miniATX. I already have a gpu and a 750w psu. Any help is appreciated.

The board is pretty good in terms of features and overclocking.

Ahh, you should have mentioned that before. These are ATX boards and wont fit in the mini tower.
Do you have a mATX mini tower or mini ITX tower???
Specify the exact case model if you are unsure.

Well it was a prebuilt but I put new gpu and new psu in it. Prebuilt is Lenovo eraser x315. I can get a new case if need be. Would prefer not to spend more money than O need to though.

All I can find on that prebuilt system is that it is an mini tower.
To make 100% sure, can you click the link and look at the case and verify that it looks the same?

What do you want to spend ? What features do you need ? If you know what case you have, it's east to find out what form factor it is by looking at web site or newegg

The MSI Z270 SLI is the best gaming build bargains out there today for $102 w/ 20% off and $10 rebate.

At < $200 - MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON

At < $150 - GIGABYTE GA-Z270-Gaming K3

I read about a dozen reviews and specs at various sites and non mentioned the form factor. Your best bet is so look at the dimensions here and see what matched up

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_form_factor

Newegg listed the following:

Form Factor = Tower

At 18.02 x 6.97 x 15.1 inches , that kinda huge for an iTX mini tower ... even mATX come in at 13" H ... Mid Towers arre 16 -17" high

The z270 chipset doesnt have any mini ITX board with 4 RAM slots. If you specifically want 4 RAM slots, then something like this should be good...

Do you already have the 7700k or are you contemplating on getting it. If you dont have it already, there are better value processors out there, unless you want the 7700k for esports gaming.

As above ... at 18" tall ... thats real HUGE for iTX or mATX ... Looking at size alone, it would typically be called a mid tower but with the weird shape, it's hard ti classify without looking at the form factor dimensions on the link I gave you ... what are the MoBo dimensions ?

I'm contemplating getting it because I want something that's gonna last like 7 years into the future. Also I don't know my mobo size specs but I could like measure it with a ruler maybe? Sorry for late reply.
