a pro license is nice to have lying around it supports more ram more storage and dual sockets on a computer. you might never run into the dual socket issue but 16 gigs of ram and 2TB is easy to hit

Like i said, memory limit is your only concern. 16GB the norm these days, 2x 8GB dual channel is common for most setups and games are starting to chew through 8GB like GTA5. 16GB should last you quite sometime, but will also depend on your motherboard's dimm memory capacity whether it supports 2GBs/4GBs/8GBs might not even be worth getting Win7 Pro, especially oem.
