Hello folks and thanks for taking a look at my post.

My question is this, I'm currently trying to decide on a case and hsf for my AMD rig (see specs below).
The biggest thing I am considering is a good dBA to cooling ratio as I would like my system to be quiet while still being more than able to cool my system (which im sure is something we all want; with the possible exception of <A HREF="http://forums.pimprig.com/showthread.php?t=47422" target="_new">these guys</A>.)

Currently the two contenders are the:
<A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811129154" target="_new">Antec P180</A> + (<A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835109118" target="_new">Thermalright XP-120</A> + <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835180019" target="_new">Panaflo 120</A>) <b>vs.</b> <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112051" target="_new">Lian Li V-1000</A> + <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118115" target="_new">Zalman 7700-cu</A>

My current rig specs are:
AMD 3800+ (Venice)
DFI LanParty Ultra-D
ATI Radeon x800xl
Western Dig. 120gb SATA
Antec Neopower 480w

Im using the computer mostly for gaming and I may or may not overclock the system (OC noob).

Please let me know what your thoughts are on this, im very torn between the two options and haven't been able to make a decision.

Thanks,
Dan

Your in the wrong forum. Lian Li is always a good bet.

ASUS P5WD2 Premium
Intel 3.73 EE @ 5.6Ghz
XMS2 DDR2 @ 1180Mhz

Here for example is a brainless opinion. If you are not OCing in a big way, the thermalright 90 with a 92 mm panaflo might be a good choice. Everyone likes the Lian Li cases (well except maybe the price)
