Hi all
I was thinking of getting BF2, but wanted your thoughts before I splash out...
You see, I was one of those people who bought Joint Ops thinking it would be nice to play a game with real people rather than just single player...
But of course, what I discovered is that the game was dominated by players who just run around like headless chickens rather than work as a team, and even more annoying people who base-camp and snipe or just try and knife everyone. It quickly stopped being fun - if I wanted to run around by myself blasting stuff I'd have bought Quake3.
My question (yes, I'm getting there) is - does BF2 (or similar games) suffer from the same problems? Is the game dominated by annoying 10-year olds whose sole aim in life is to p*ss people off, or can you you actually play a challenging, tactical game with just a smidgeon of realism?
I also hear BF2 still suffers from bugs - are they just a minor irritation, or does it seriously affect your enjoyment?
Thanks for your thoughts...
