"Known for their warranties", right!
I purchased this card when it was a new product, paid over $300 for it. A large factor in my decision were the words on the box "24/7 FREE TECH SUPPORT & LIFETIME WARRANTY". I registered the product immediately with BFG and after a few years, the board stopped functioning properly. It would produce funny random glitches of text and characters on the screen and eventually wouldn't display anything. "Fortunately" I had my "Lifetime Warranty" to back me up. I sent in a return request and eventually they returned the card (or another, couldn't really tell). I didn't use it right away because it wasn't needed, but a few weeks later decided to put it into a system. It had the same problem as the original I had returned. When I contacted BFG Support, I was told that in order for them to warranty the board, I would need to supply the original receipt. I had already supplied this in the original registration and no longer had the receipt. This is crap support so I'll never purchase another BFG (Big Freakin' Garbage) product. BFG, you should be ashamed of yourselves for lying about "LIFETIME WARRANTY". I buy a lot of computer products. I currently have six computers in my house on a network and I could build several more from spare parts alone. Don't buy BFG!
