Big hassle, simple question(Cooler related)

Hey,
So its a massive hassle to move my PC and take a look at it(Long story) It would take about 1hr. Anyway recently I installed a new cooler and I am wondering by doing this could It have made some components become lose during installation(I forgot to check)?

A large air cooler may have loosened up if the tower was stored upright during moving. If it was on the side (MB faced up) with no movement (sliding around) then it should be fine. As long as the system starts up fine and isn't overheating then you should be good.

I am currency not experiencing any symptoms. I just want to know if there is any visual identifiers?

If you are having no symptoms, then likely nothing has loosened. Otherwise, if the machine has a window, you might see if there are visible gaps where cables are seated, or if latches appear to be unlatched (e.g. on power cables).

Say if there was a lose power cable won't it show on the system?

If it isn't loose enough to cause symptoms, then no. If you are concerned that something might be loose, the only way to deal with it is to bite the bullet and go through whatever hassle there is of getting to your PC and physically checking.

One more question(Sorry 😛) Can A lose power wire effect performance?

No. A lose power wire might cause crashes, but I don't believe it would slow performance. If your graphics card needs PCIe power and isn't getting it, the card may have a piezo alarm on it that would sound; not sure how many modern cards still do that.

Nice, Had a feeling it might slow my performance
