Recently I installed HwMonitor to look at my CPU and GPU temps. It was reading about 50 degrees on my CPU which is what I mainly care about. When I went into bios though, it said my CPU had a temp of 70 degrees which is way to hot. Any help on why or how this is happening would be great.

Install and overdrive and check your thermal limit. Amd CPU's are tricky on temps because you have the core temp and the package temp which can be higher. The only accurate way to know your true temp is to use that and see what it reads for your thermal limit. Also keep in mind the stock cooler is pretty basic and personally I would not use it as your temps will always be higher than any other after market cooler.

Download Speed Fan and Realtemp.
SpeedFan reports the CPU temp from the T Case
and Realtemp reports it from the Thermal Junction
then post the temps from both of those, also make sure your BIOS are up to date for all its worth.
