Question BIOS is not resetting

Hi guys,

So I have a gigabyte B550 aorus elite v2 motherboard. I put XMP on in the settings and was resetting the BIOS but it's not working. I tried the screwdriver on the clear CMOS pins method and took the CMOS battery out. I even replaced the battery but the screen is still not coming on. I don't get what's wrong. The computer and fan come on so I don't think it's a power issue.

Any recommendations?

Try a new CMOS battery.

Clear CMOS per the motherboard's User Guide/Manual.

Do verify that I found the applicable User Manual.

Could you give us a bit more information? Please list the specs to your build like so:

As for the CMOS battery removal, how long was the battery out of the board? Did you disconnect from the wall and display prior to removing the battery?
