Bios is showing slower memory speeds than actual kit.

I have an ASUS Z170-E motherboard and recently installed my new Ballistix DDR4 3000 16G kit. When I boot into my BIOS, it shows that the memory is running at 2400 MHz both in Ez mode and advanced mode. What could be the issue? Any information or advice is greatly appreciated.

All ram defaults there. Enable xmp and it'll set it to 3000hz for you
