Bios update increase cpu and gpu temps???

I recently updated my bios to latest version and since then my cpu and gpu temps have increased.Before the cpu use to idle at 35-38C and now it idles at 45-48C.Gpu used to idle at 53-55C and now idles at 61-63C.The system temps have remained unchanged and are about 35-37C.So i want to know could this be due to inaccurate reading with the previous or the latest bios or have the temps really gone up?The gpu temps go upto 80c even when playing games like nfs underground2.What should i do?

what program in windows are you using to monitor your temps?

dual core center supplied by msi mobo...

try a program called speed fan. its a free program that will give you reading of allyour cores and it is more accurate than dual core center.
