Question Bios updates

I am looking for a bios update for my aorus elite motherboard ddr5 but I can not find one on the gigabyte site. can anyone give me link to download it?

What exactly is the make/model of your motherboard?
There are several aorus elite versions.

Gigabyte z690 aorus elite ax ddr5 but I don't know which revision it is would that matter?

CPU-Z should identify the motherboard and the revision number.
Look carefully at the motherboard, the revision number should be printed there.
Does it matter?... probably not, but better to get it right the first time.
The bios update process should verify that whatever you are trying to install is correct.

Exactly why do you need to be updating the BIOS?

Unless an update addresses a specific problem that you encountering there is no reason to update. It isn't like updating drivers and such.
