I am looking for a bios update for my aorus elite motherboard ddr5 but I can not find one on the gigabyte site. can anyone give me link to download it?

CPU-Z should identify the motherboard and the revision number.
Look carefully at the motherboard, the revision number should be printed there.
Does it matter?... probably not, but better to get it right the first time.
The bios update process should verify that whatever you are trying to install is correct.

Search google for "Gigabyte z690 aorus elite ax ddr5"
Your first hit should be this:
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z690-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-1x#kf

click on the support tab and you should get this:

https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/Z690-AORUS-ELITE-AX-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driver
scroll down to the bios link and you should get this:

Exactly why do you need to be updating the BIOS?

Unless an update addresses a specific problem that you encountering there is no reason to update. It isn't like updating drivers and such.
