My computer crashed one day(the usual horror story)
but this time it was worse! the harddisk contained a database with two months of work on and it hadnt been backuped(horror of horrors). Actually it wasnt my computer, but i had some files on it that were equally important.
Me and some friends tried the harddisk on different working computers, and it cant be correctly detected. sometimes it registers as 30Gb and sometimes 0. What should i do?
By the way, the model is a: Fujitsu MPG3102AT (10Gb).

i have the same exact problem that you have, my bios won't recongnize my hdd, expect my hdd is a maxtor 53073h4. I will also lose a lot of unbacked up info if i can't get it to work. i have had a lot of people take a look at my computer and noone could help me out yet, unfortunately. someone on madonion recommended Date Recovery Pro but i haven't tried it yet. If you ever get your hdd to work again could you please email me at xjpcx@juno.com of what you did. thanks

if it is really important, then i would say take it to a data recovery center. it might be a little expensive, but if that work is really important, i would rather not loose the data by trying to fix it, and accidentally making it worse.
especially after 2 months of unbacked up work.
