I am considering buying a monitor but I've been stuck at the above mentioned specs.

I have to choose between 10bit depth & 1000:1 contrast ratio OR 8bit depth & 100m:1 constrast ratio

Which one is better for color quality (movies & gaming)? I couldn't find anything on google about comparing these 2.

Solution
Looks like they all have the same static contrast ratio (1000:1) - they might even use the exact same panel.

Based purely on published specs, I would rank them 1) MSI, 2) AOC, 3) Acer.
If one monitor is quoting 1000:1 and one is quoting 100,000,000:1, they are measuring something different - you can be assured that the marketing department came up with the 100m:1 number.

VA panels generally have better contrast ratios than IPS, and OLED blows them both away. What are you looking at?

oh, so that 100m:1 conrast is just dynamic conrast ratio. I read it is quite bad.
So I looked up a 4th monitor which have 3000:1 static constrast ratio.

27" Dell Gaming S2721HGF

How would this compare to the MSI one in image quality? Which one to sacrifice... conrast ratio or bit depth?

10 bit 1:1000 vs 8 bit 3000:1
