Question Black rectangle present in certain games (not related to aspect ratio)

I've run into a strange problem that I've never seen before. While playing certain games, there's a black rectangle that appears on the left-middle part of the game's display. Here's a couple of examples:

This issue appears on some games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk 2077, but it is completely absent in other games such as Subnautica and Star Wars Battlefront 2. I've tried switching the games over to my second monitor, updating all problematic games and updating my graphics drivers, but nothing has helped so far. I've also tried messing with in-game settings such as switching between full-screen and windowed mode and changing graphics settings.

Here are my specs:

GPU: GeForce RTX 3080 Founders Edition
CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
RAM: 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200mhz
Mobo: MSI PRO B660M-A WIFI
PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850W

Found the fix thanks to another forum. Pull up the Nvidia GeForce Experience Overlay (Alt + Z) and then click on the gear icon. Scroll down to "Performance Monitoring" and make sure "Always Show Reflex Flash Indicator" is unchecked.
