hello on my RTX 2080 Super happens this

i have checked

1-all cables just fine
2-gpu undervolt or gpu at normal voltage(still does it)
3-removed ram tunes and cpu oc(3900x)
4-clear install of gpu drivers
5-gpu temps are normal
6-updated bios and chipset drivers

the weird thing is that when it does this at a game and restart the pc,then it plays just fine,so i believe its something software like

the only thing i saw at even viewer is this : SCEP Certificate enrollment initialization for WORKGROUP\DESKTOP-****** via https://AMD-KeyId-907d65e9b562315997dd5ad086b2b7598957b92c.microsoftaik.azure.net/templates/Aik/scep failed:

has anyone please have a solution?thnx

hello. this exact thing happened to me recently with my RTX3090. Turns out the processor needed to be repasted with thermal paste. The normal temps looked fine but use HWInfo64 to check out the "hotspot" temps and see what they are. mine were reaching over 100c which caused the GPU to go into thermal safety mode. Which is why the fans are going 100% and the screen cuts out. This happened to me only sometimes on some games. But when running GPU benchmark software I got it to happen every time.

I watched some youtube vids on how to repaste my specific GPU. I had never done it before so i was nervous, but I was careful and followed the instructions. This fixed it 100% and the hotspot temps never go about 83c now.

Check out your hotspot temps and paste back here.

thnx for your answer,i just monited the hotspots on gpu and cpu during benchmarks and saw nothing abnormal, even with 100% cpu utilisation!

19 matches... please narrow it down a bit further. Also, how long has it been in use?

Black screen to 100% gpu fans are usually power related - the psu, power delivery on the gpu, the motherboard, or some combo of the 3.
You may have to swap out parts in order to narrow down the culprit. Psu is probably the easiest one to swap out, followed by motherboard. Gpu requires another 2080 Super or one with similar power demands.

Are any cable extensions at play?

change the pci cable, new thermal pads new paste, clean drivers, again the same
the psu is tested and working fine!
