Question Black screen and system not responsive when in a game or running benchmarks ?

I'm having issues with a black screen when playing games or running a benchmark. The system is not responsive and i have to reboot the computer. Sometimes my gpu fans run at 100% speed even tho it is not close to overheating. I have tried many things like clean installing new gpu drivers and reaseting the gpu. I suspect that my power supply is faulty or the gpu is broken.

My PC is a prebuilt HP-Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx.

Specs:
Nvidia RTX 2060 6gb
AMD Ryzen 5 4600G
400w psu
16gb ddr4.

So i suspect that it's the PSU since it's from HP and is only 400w ?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If you suspect the PSU to the issue, might want to try and power the build with a higher wattage, reliably built unit. Just an FYI, the motherboard for your prebuilt has a proprietary input from the PSU, meaning you either need an adapter for an aftermarket PSU or you need to source the exact same PSU that the prebuilt came with.

You could also remove the discrete GPU from your build and see if the system has any hiccups when stressed. If not, then the PSU is unable to power all your devices when taxed.
