What is this that I keep hearing about a blue core t-bird chip? That it is more stable at higher speeds, etc. Anyone care to enlighten me?

From what I have read it isn't necessarily more or less stable. Just manufactured at a different plant and using a different silicon provider thus the different color.

Supposedly the Blue Core TBirds are made with the Copper interconnects in Dresden, Germany. This has not been confirmed by AMD, but only speculated to the truth, and is accepted widely as the truth. The only thing that makes people assume this is the die color, Green for Austin TX, Blue for Germany, as the Austin chips use Aluminum interconnects, as don't run as high speeds as the blue cores. I can attest that my Blue Core 1.2Ghz CPU, runs at 1370mhz without a problem, just puts out a lot of heat!
