[SOLVED] Bluetooth USB Adaptor OR WIFI +BT Network Card?

Although my Asus Maximus Formula XI motherboard comes with onboard Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0, I was having connection stability issues, i.e., connecting my Xbox controller or Apple Airpods Pro. As such, I bought and installed an ASUS USB-BT400 USB Adapter w/Bluetooth Dongle Receiver, but find the range of the Bluetooth lacking. Could the problem be that I didn't install the Wifi Extender that comes with my Motherboard? I am assuming the Extender only enhances the Wifi signal or does it also "enhance" the BT signal too? Furthermore, if I were to purchase a Wifi + BT network card and install it directly to my Motherboard, will the Bluetooth work faster, and with better range, relative to the ASUS USB Adapter?

They don't have a wifi extender. Bluetooth doesn't work very far - 10m is about it.
