Hello there,
I need some help with a NvMe and ssd.
Following system:
amd ryzen 7 2700x
gigabyte radeon rx 5600 xt
asus rog strix b550-f gaming
1 TB HDD
250GB SSD SanDisk external
1x 3.0 NvMe 980 Samsung 1TB
1x 4.0 NvMe Kingston KC3000 7000mb/s 500GB
So I ordered the kingston Nvme to migrate my system to an Nvme from my external ssd.
following problem:
I installed the kingston to the 2nd m.2 slot, following that my system just didn’t want to boot.
I took it out, same thing happened.
Then I started to plug all storage media out.
When only the ssd was connected it showed up in bios.
Then I plugged in the HDD, it showed up too.
I plugged in the 3.0 nvme into the upper spot (where the kingston was when the system didn’t boot). It showed up in the bios.
After that i plugged in the 4.0 and the ssd suddenly didn’t show up anymore.
Now I‘m done trying for today, I‘ll keep going tomorrow.
Does anyone know what I should do next, or even better what the problem is?
thank you in advance
