Question Boot devices

Hi, all! Built a new desktop & want to use my old HDD with Win 7 loaded that I pulled from my old machine to use as the boot drive in the new machine. Enabled compatibility boot & now see that old drive showing up as a bootable drive. The issue I am having now is I get a repair windows option & start windows normally option. Selecting the repair option I get right back to the options screen. Selecting start Windows normally gets up the Windows logo for a couple of seconds but then the machine restarts and I am back to that same screen.

My theory is that the system picked up all of the HW changes and is preventing me from going into the OS.

What are my options here?

Cloning tools often have a clone to dissimilar option or a standalone version for this, this version will strip the clone of anything non-standard and will allow it to boot on a dissimilar system.
Example:

Or you just re partition the drive and re install windows 7.

As far as I can tell that's a tool for use in Windows. I can't get to Windows at this point.
