How can you chnage the boot drive letter from E: to C:
Disk manager doesnt allow it.
Dell had to place the hard drive, and now it has the
incorrect drive letter.

You'll have to reinstall XP..... it happens when an external drive is
connected to the PC during the initial installation.

Don't do that even if you can... Many shortcuts and links in the registry
will "point wrongly" if you change it (i.e. Windows might stop working)...
Beside, it's not really necessary, is it? :)

There is actually one way for doing it...

Powerquest PartitionMagic is able to change the driver letter (even on the
system partition).
