Bottlenecking question.

I'm upgrading from a AMD Radeon 6850 to a Radeon 7950 soon and im wondering if a AMD FX 4170 would be a ok CPU to use with this card or if i need ti upgrade it as well.

no it would be adequate for 7950. just overclock it a little to gain some extra performance and you willing be good
