So I replaced the motherboard and 1 stick of new ram as the old one was dead. Now they run at 531 mhz. Previously they both used to run at 667 mhz (the old motherboard was Foxconn G41MXE). Please help.
My CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 (FSB: 1333 mhz)
Mobo: Zebronics ZEB-G41-DL3
Ram 1:
Samsung 4GB DDR3 PC3 12800-1600MHz 240 PIN DIMM Desktop Module
Ram 2: Aarvex DDR3 Ram, DDR3, 1333 mhz (same specs as above)
Also I don't know how to get into the BIOS of this thing, and even if I could, I don't know the ins and outs of installing an XMP profile. Thanks for your help.

Mixing memory is a gamble, no guarantee they will operate together. So the slowest speed possible is the default.

You won't be able to load an XMP profile with mixed memory as far as I am aware.

To enter the BIOS use the typical Delete key while the system is first booting.

You will likely have to manually set the frequency and timing of the memory.

I'm afraid I have no idea from where you can find the manual for this thing. So, you are on your own there. The BIOS itself should be somewhat self descriptive.

Thanks for the replies, I went into the bios. The OC settings were set to auto. So, I set them to 1333 mhz and saved it. However, the pc did not boot up. I removed the bios battery and tried the different options (auto, 531, 667, 800, 1067, 1333 mhz) and only auto and 1067 mhz boots up. When I try the 1067 mhz setting, Speccy still shows it as 7-7-7-20 531 mhz ram. Also forgot to mention that the ram is 2x 4gb sticks so the total is 8 gb.

Were you using two 4GB DDR3 sticks in your old Foxconn G41MXE motherboard? I'm trying to upgrade my motherboard from two 2GB RAMs to 2 x 4GB RAMs. Need help.
