[SOLVED] Brand new PC no POST

Hi guys,

I just build my 2nd PC and it starts up, everything comes to life, but no POST.

The monitor is fine, I tried another one with a different cable, Dell 22 inch 60Hz with Display Port(the Samsung monitor has an HDMI cable), same thing.

I tried the GPU that's in my first PC, Gigabyte GTX 1070 8GB 258-Bit, same thing, no POST.

I switched the RAM around, nothing.

I tried booting only with the CPU, GPU and RAM, seated the MOBO on it's box, nothing.

I tried reseting the CMOS.

The CPU can be seated in only one way, it has some cuts on the edges that fits like a puzzle, so it's seated the right way.

Two things that comes to mind right now, either one of the components is DOA or the MOBO doesn't have the lastest update.

Do you have any ideas if it could be something else?

Components:

CPU: Intel i9-10900KF
MOBO: MSI Z490 A-PRO
GPU: Gigabyte RTX 2060 6GB 192-BIT
Cooler: NZXT Kraken X53
PSU: Corsair CX650
SSD M2: Samsung 980 PRO 250GB
SSD SATA: Samsung 860 EVO 250GB
Case: NZXT H510
RAM: 2x8GB 3200MHz DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX
Monitor: Samsung Curved Monitor 27 inch 144Hz

Thank you.

Only the EZ debug LED is white on BOOT
This means the motherboard has powered ON and is alive.
Yes, white Light on BOOT is for No OS.
You're using CPU: Intel i9-10900KF, which doesn't have integrated graphics, you need to attach the graphics card to the PCIe slot of your board and plug in your HDMI or DP cable with the monitor. Check whether BIOS screen is coming up or not.
I think this time you'll be able to figure out correctly, if BIOS screens show up, CPU, RAM, MOBO is working. If not, then graphics card may be faulty here.
One thing you've to verify while booting (after you attach Graphics card), is to check EZ Debug LED again for any errors...
DOA is very rare these days. I'm not saying it's extinct, but the probability is low. A fellow member of tomshardware wrote that product manufactured in 2020 were not tested for Quality and Assurance, due to SARS-COVID-19 outbreak.

Try JUMP STARTING your CX650 using paperclip. Check as PASSED if PSU starts and update your status.

Passed, the fan was spinning.

I might sound funny but did you properly plug in all the cable with basic POST (PSU, MOBO, PROCESSOR, RAM, COOLER).
  • Double check the 8 Pin CPU power cable,
  • 24 Pin ATX power cable
  • SATA power cable or USB 2.0 header (pump) of your NZXT Kraken X53. 3 pin or 4 pin fan cables (radiator fans to CPUFAN1)
If all of the above looks good, then then any of the component is dead. Try approaching the seller to check the continuity of the component. A friend of yours who has PC with him can also help you with testing individual componts for continuity.

Everything checks out, I can hear the pump working, the fans spinning, all the cables and connectors are good, still no luck. Only the EZ debug LED is white on BOOT, but I guess that's because it has no OS.
