Nope, you're not the only one. I haven't had any problems with mine either. The problems I did have were the fault of the game.

what is everquest anyway, a bunch of people i know said it was totaly gay.

It's a Online RPG where you walk around killing baddies, exploring areas, and doing the occasional quest or two. The game is actually fun for the first 20 levels or so. From then on it gets extremely repetitive as well as time consuming. Basically it all boils down to waiting for hours on end for some special monster to make his %1 chance of appearing so you can get his special sword which he only drops 1 out of 10 times. You may spend DAYS (real life time not game time) sitting in one spot doing absolutely NOTHING at all but waiting for Mr special to make his cameo appearance. What's really great is when you hear that Mr. Special appeared while you logged off for a while. So now you get repeat the process all over again until you get your special useless hankerchief that is part of some epic quest for a flaming sword.

that sounds a lot like diablo 2, but in D2 we kill meph for stuff and he drops it.

i found 2 baranar's star in 1 day! CRAZY!

ehh... i tried EQ and hated it. the first thing i noticed were the crappy graphics. next was the crappy gameplay. after that i came to despise fighting. its a great concept but the execution could have been much better, imo. i liked d2 much much much more and i still play it off and on. i prolly wouldve liked EQ a lot more if the interface and gameplay was more like d2. i really hate all these mmorpgs that have 3d graphics. blah.
 
i know what you mean by dispise fightning, i used to play this game called Lunar for Sega CD.
you were a little square character like in zelda for Nintendo and the screen would sorta flash when you had to fight a monster. after trying to figure out that game for like 2 weeks i would see the screen flash and yell AH $@%#$!!!!

Are you kidding me FFVIII was one of the worst of the series by far. I'm not whining about the focus on technology more than magic either. The story was just so damn monotonous. Did you ever play any of the previous FF series before the PS? Graphically those were the best FF games, but overall...
no way.

They all pretty good game but op flashpoint has 2 much visual glitches, good storyline and gameplay thou

Playing Dark Age of Camelot right now - good graphics compared to EQ, but my thief class sucks and levelling starts to suck. At least camping items isn't anything like EQ.

Ultima Online (and most of the past Ultima's)

Want to try Wizardry 8, heard it is good.

Are computer games that good in general? The good to bad ratio seems biased towards the bad mostly! Erm maybe that's another story!! The first time I played Unreal and Quake at a friends house I thought they were good but then the second time...isn't it just paintballing?. I think I prefer more magical experiences for £40 than the sooo tedious shooting cliches. Even though I realise that game programmers have to have some input into a games content,plot etc I think it would be worth handing their baby over to someone who isn't obsessed by guns, elves, cars,dungeons, computer games, zombies, crystals, space....In fact rules could be one crystal, one shooting, one car chase, one undead, one elf and lots more women who don't need to carry their guns over inflated breasts. For the record though Shenmue 1&2, Zelda and Rez(ok so it's a retro blaster and should be 60fps but I didn't have access to drugs way back when they,blasters that is, were all the rage!!) are the ones that have grabbed my attention in the last few years. What do I know!!

Medal of Honor, Allied Assault. I got it only because somebody here on THG said it's great, that was yesterday, now it's 7:40 am and I quit playing only because system crashed. Not counting breaks I played it for 17 hours more or less. LOL Damn sweet game! It is different, riding on a jeep shooting at people, driving a tank running people over and blowing up enemy tanks, all damn sweet. Not enough blood flowing, but plenty of dead bodies!!! Only thing I hate is shooting the dogs, so just toss a grenade and they run for it. kaboom

Civ III was fun for a day or two, then got boring.

Operation Flashpoint... makes you wonder, is it possible to make something so over done, even more cheap? ohh yes

A vs P, no clue. Only played the first one for a few days.

Ghost Recon was okay, beats Operation Flashpoint hands down (not mohaa though). Now only if I would ever manage to use the rocket launcher in that game.

Medal of Honour is good everyone was talking about the beach landing and I had to try it out-It's pretty emotional on your PC!! out there on your own, so you can't help but think what it would be like for real. For a split second you believe it is.
 
Definately TFC (Team Fortress Classic) or TF 1.5, soon, sometime in October TF2 will be coming out and then it will be the best. Online multiplayer games are always the best, but if youre lookin for a single player game all the Half-Life's are GREAT.

its not that intel CANT make a good processor, its that they just dont try
 
less than 200 and it will be the most viewed in this section, the one with fps games and optical mouse is the most viewed for now

Medal of Honor is deff worth Getting!! I picked it up a few days ago and OMG!!! can't describe in words..just get off your A** and go get it!!

Gotta agree on No One Lives Forever. I keep playing it and finishing it now in different levels. The only bit I can't do is beat Magnus Armstrong hand to hand in the advanced levels.

Can't wait for NOLF 2!!!

Finished Medal of Honor last nigh, I want more!!!! Hate it that I play games almost non-stop if I like them, always end up finishing them in a couple of days. Maybe I should ask for a job at some game designing company as a tester, they would hate me saying "need 40 more levels in this one!!!" every time I like something. :)

Play the Halflife mod Day Of Defeat, it's online only but it's free and has unlimited play. Personally I like the gameplay in DoD better than MoH. Try it you might like it.
