Question Brother HL-2380DW

I have a Brother HL-2380DW multi function printer, that will print, when. I make a copy, or scan something. But, When I try to print from he computer, it won't print.

Any ideas?

How is the printer connected - network, USB, wireless, Bluetooth?

Did the printer and all functions work before and stopped working or has it never worked?

Did you download the full driver package from their website?

While it will print copies, and print scans. It won't print anything via the 'Print' function in software.

And I will add the questions:

How is the printer connected - network, USB, wireless, Bluetooth?

Did the printer and all functions work before and stopped working or has it never worked?

USB, the Print function did work previously.

Check the default printer settings.

In the Oval Search box type Printers and scanners.

Verify that all settings are correct. Look and read carefully.

If correct and if the only functions that work are those directly run from/via the multi-function printer then try a known working USB cable and other USB ports.

Failing that:

Per @dwd999: Reinstall the drivers.

If still unable to print, then reset the multi-function printer to factory defaults.
