browser window closing

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics (More info?)

On some site www.worldtribune.com my browser will close. I have
disabled my ZA pop up blocker with no difference. Could this have something
to do with Java?

Although I don't remember installing Java, removing it solved my
problem.
