Hi guys,

I have recently build a sort of frankenstein pc and im running into some issues concerning BSOD's

Ive tried chkdsk, dsm and multiple re-installs of windows 10 but to no avail. Something keeps crashing this pc and i honestly cant discover what is causing it.

This download contains 2 of the more recent DMP files. I'd be very gratefull if anyone could help me.

https://we.tl/t-rxYmabHRTP

here are the specs:
i7-3770 /Asorck p67 pro3 (latest bios, AHCI sata controller)
12 GB ddr3 corsair value ram
RX 580 (latest drivers. older drivers BSOD'd aswell)
256 GB kingston SSD NOW
1TB WD blue

Solution
Try running memtest86 on each of your ram sticks, one stick at a time, up to 4 passes. Only error count you want is 0, any higher could be cause of the BSOD. Remove/replace ram sticks with errors.

your amount is strange, is that 3x4gb sticks?

I will get a friend to look at dumps.

Hi, I ran the dump files through the debugger and got the following information: https://cylindricforce.htmlpasta.com/

File information:010620-6484-01.dmp (Jan 6 2020 - 16:54:22)
Bugcheck:CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (EF)
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process: svchost.exe)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 00 Min(s), and 36 Sec(s)

File information:010520-7046-01.dmp (Jan 5 2020 - 16:04:41)
Bugcheck:SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B)
Probably caused by:memory_corruption (Process: Registry)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 0 Hour(s), 00 Min(s), and 13 Sec(s)

Comment: 2 or more types of RAM are installed.

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.asrock.com/mb/intel/p67 pro3/
It appears you have the latest stable BIOS already installed.

This information can be used by others to help you. I can't help you with this. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Having 3 different types of ram installed at once sure could be the cause. And different speeds...

4096MB1333MHzHynix/HyundaiHMT351U6CFR8C-PB
4096MB1333MHz029ECMV4GX3M1B1600C11
0MHz
4096MB1333MHz029ECMV8GX3M2A1333C9

Bottom 2 may be from Corsair but they different speeds,. at least top 2 are 1600

HMT351U6CFR8C-PB = 1600 11-11-11 = https://www.skhynix.com/eolproducts.view.do?pronm=DDR3+SDRAM&srnm=HMT351U6CFR8C&rk=20&rc=module

CMV4GX3M1B1600C11 = 1600 11-11-11-28 = https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categ...DR3-Memory/p/CMV4GX3M1B1600C11#tab-tech-specs

CMV8GX3M2A1333C9 = 1333 9-9-9-24 = https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categ...-Memory-Kit/p/CMV8GX3M2A1333C9#tab-tech-specs

If memtest checks out on all 3 sticks, try running with only top 2 and see if it the latency difference that is problem.

I hate to piggy back off his post but would you guys mind taking a look at my mini dump files? i've been getting a ton of different bsods. i've fixed a few with driver updates but the list just keeps getting longer.

Better idea, make a new thread and I will get a friend to check dump files. Better than confusing matters with 2 different PC :)

also, have you run memtest on ram?

Hi guys, i switched out some ram.

i now have 3 of the same modules of ddr 1600mhz + the Hynix ram.

No bsod so far but i did get this : https://prnt.sc/qmf2es

the pc booted just fine and i havent encounterd problems yet but im suspecting it might be because my sata controller is on ACHI. am i right to think this?
