To make this short every time pc starts from cold start I get bsod code power state driver failure one time then after reboot it doesn't ever show up
Specs
Msi b550 gaming plus
R7 3700x
Gtx pny 1070 8gb
32gb ram
480gb kingston sad
Intel ac9260 w/ bluetooth

What I have done
All drivers have most recent update
Fresh install of windows 10
Reseated all hardware

Not sure what it could be no oc has been done all equipment is brand new and it only does it on the first power on from cold boot after that never happens it just gets annoying take 4 minutes to boot because I have to wait for the bsod then I can use without crashing

dump isn't pointing at any one driver so I have to go through them and see what might have an update.

Unless you didn't get any BSOD before you added the WIFI, I wouldn't look at it based on its drivers being from 2021

weird that MSI put NTIOLib_X64.sys on system 3 times, one in Dragon Centre, one in Mystic Light and another in Supercharger. Must use it to talk to hardware - See if there are any updates.

Surprised the AMD chipset drivers still include a driver from 2016 for a motherboard made 2020
Mar 14 2016amdgpio3.sysAMD GPIO Controller Driver from Advanced Micro Devices http://support.amd.com/
DO you have newest chipset drivers - https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b550

AMD Ryzen Master - could be new version, run update in its settings. its possible old driver is part of Ryzenmaster
update Nvidia drivers.
update Synapse

try turning this off and see if it removes error from start up - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html - you don't need it on if you boot off ssd.

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

  1. Open Windows File Explorer
  2. Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
  3. Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
  4. Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
  5. Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
  6. Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
  7. Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Hi, I ran the dump file through the debugger and got the following information: https://jsfiddle.net/7hrgdfun/show This link is for anyone wanting to help. You do not have to view it. It is safe to "run the fiddle" as the page asks.

File information:032521-14734-01.dmp (Mar 25 2021 - 14:53:22)
Bugcheck:DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9F)
Driver warnings:*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for Unknown_Module_00000000`00000000
Probably caused by:Unknown_Image (Process: ?)
Uptime:0 Day(s), 15 Hour(s), 07 Min(s), and 14 Sec(s)

Comment: This wasn't a well formed (complete) dump file.

BIOS info was not included in this dump file.

This information can be used by others to help you. Someone else will post with more information. Please wait for additional answers. Good luck.

Uptime:0 Day(s), 23 Hour(s), 50 Min(s), and 45 Sec(s)

Comment: The overclocking driver "NTIOLib_X64.sys" was found on your system. (MSI Afterburner or other MSI software)

Possible Motherboard page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-B550-GAMING-PLUS
There is a BIOS update available for your system. You are using version 1.3 and the latest stable version is 1.5. We recommend avoiding Beta versions (1.61). Wait for additional information before deciding to update or not. Important: Verify that I have linked to the correct motherboard. Updating your BIOS can be risky. Never try it when you might lose power (lightning storms, recent power outages, etc).
