I have just gotten my brothers ram as he has upgraded, it is the exact same one I have currently in my computer. When I add them into the open slots on my motherboard I keep getting blue screen loops with different error messages, such as:
  • Kernel Security check
  • System thread exception not handled
  • Page fault in nonpaged area
And a few others.
It’s only when I have 4 modules of RAM installed. Have tried reseating all RAM, both sets work individually and the motherboard recognises all 4 in the bios when they are connected.
Have also tried turning up dRAM voltage by 0.05 and nothing.
I have updated my drivers and done complete restore of windows 10 and still get bsod loops.

Current System:
MB: Asrock fatal1ty h170 performance
CPU: Intel i7 6700k
RAM: 4x 4gb Kingston hyperx fury 2133
GPU: Nvidia GTX 2060
PSU: 750 watt bronze
Have ssd with os and hdd for storage
Network card

What is the actual RAM voltage since raising the .05v, at least according to UEFI? Have you tried a full Memtest86 test or similar on each stick individually? Could also be the VCCIO or VCCSA needs a bump as these are directly tied to the IMC inside the CPU vs DRAM voltage. Is there an XMP setting for your kit available or is it just plug and play?
