Two issues happening at random times:
Both Win 10 and Win 11 tried, OS is installed on the M.2 NVMe, Gigabyte B250-HD3, NVIDIA 1050 Ti, Intel i5-7500, G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GBx2
At this point I suspect something is wrong with the motherboard, especially the part that connects the M.2 NVMe drive. Before I go buy another motherboard, could something else be the culprit?
- BSoD
- "An operating system wasn't found" during startup. When I look into the BIOS, sometimes the boot priority changed by itself to the drive with no OS (Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512GB) , sometimes the hard drive with OS completely disappears (Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 NVMe)
- No dump file created after BSoD
- chkdsk
- MemTest86
- Latest BIOS flashed
- Latest drivers (GPU, WiFi etc.)
- Samsung Magician SSD management utility
- BIOS battery voltage is 3.2v
- Screws/cables not loose
- Formatted hard drive before reinstalling OS
- No overclocking
