[SOLVED] BSOD WHEA uncorrectable error

Hello,

So today I got a BSOD when doing some stuff on my pc and it gave a WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR.
Now I do have a dmp file but I don't know how to read it. Would anyone be so generous as to check it out and see what caused it.

CPU: Intel i7 9700k

is CPU overclocked? remove if so as WHEA errors can be caused by Overclocking
Are you running any overclocking software? Programs like INtel extreme overclocking utility, MSI Afterbuner, Asus GPU Tweak 2. Stop/uninstall if you are. They can cause this error.
WHEA can be caused by heat.
Do you have latest BIOS on motherboard? That can help with these errors.

I have sent dump link to a friend, he will comment later. Dumps might show a cause, if its a driver.

WHEA = Windows Hardware Error Architecture. Its an error called by CPU but not necessarily caused by it.

Most of the time I find WHEA errors aren't caused by CPU, but as they can be any hardware, might as well start somewhere.

I do have MSI Afterburner installed but haven't overclocked anything.
I ran the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool and it passed everything.
I do have the latest BIOS version installed.

BIOS info was not included in the dump file. This can sometimes mean an outdated BIOS is being used.

So BIOS is version F12d? We can't tell from dump info.
Try updating INtel management Engine INterface as your current version is from 2018 and latest on motherboard website is 2019, helps if you have latest of each to make them work together. https://www.aorus.com/Z390-AORUS-PRO-rev-10#pd_download

AsIO2.sys

Asus Input Output driver

ASio.sys on Asus motherboards talks to the bios and changes CPU/GPU settings. We aren't entirely sure if it works for non Asus motherboards though. It might be part of GPU Tweak 2 (Or are they up to 3 yet?)

yes, my bios is version f12d and I do have EVGA Precision X installed as I use it for my GPU fans. I don't use it for overclocking. I do however have framerate limiter turned on.
I also installed the latest version of Intel Management Engine Interface. I am using the XMP profile on the motherboard to overclock RAM.

Are you running GPU Tweak as its possible ASIO2.sys is cause. I would uninstall it (just as a test) and perhaps run autoruns afterwards to see if ASIO2.sys is gone

All program does is shows what is loading at startup. Can be used to stop drivers loading with windows, although if any program needs it after startup, it can be started. I would stop ASIO2.sys if it remains after the uninstall (its ancient version, ASIO.sys used to be difficult to remove, I am not sure of this newer version).

It may not be cause, I just need to make sure. If you still get WHEA after that I will include more hardware tests.

I don't have GPU Tweaks installed, but there is an ASIO2.sys driver.
It's installed in system32. I would have added a picture but there went something wrong.

you would need to upload image to an image sharing website and show link, we don't host images.

run Autoruns and set ASIO2.sys to not load with startup and see if it makes any difference.

Yeah, I am using Imgur to upload the picture. I unchecked the box next to asusio2.sys and restarted my pc, it didn't turn on this time.
