Hi, I've been getting this BSOD for quite a few months now and I haven't been able to exactly pin-point what's causing my pc to crash, this gets even harder because now, my pc is refusing to generate DMP files. I took my pc to 4 different technicians and they weren't able to find the issue either.

These are the things that I've already tried:

-Ran benchmarks and health tests on all of my SSDs and HDDs
-RMA'ed my GPU, manufacturer reported no issues.
-Benchmarked my CPU with intel's diagnostic tool, no issues were found.
-Benchmarked my 2x8 sticks of ram with MemTest86, no issues were found
-I left a single stick of ram on my pc and I kept swaping it from slot to slot every time I had a BSOD.
-Formatted my pc 4 times, the BSOD still persisted
-Disabled any sort of OC on BIOS

curiously enough, one of the IT guys reported that my pc was failing to allocate memory on Windows, however this issue didn't happen on linux variants

Specs: i7-9700k

2x8 Super Luce 3000mhz
RTX 2070 SUPER EX GALAX 8gb
PSU Corsair RM1000
M.2 XPG 500gb
SSD Kingston 120gb
1T SeaGate Barracuda
500GB HDD

Solution
well, it didn't really help anyway. I used the alternative, it showed enough.

Does it crash in linux? as there is a Prime 95 version for linux as well.

we sort of stuck without dumps

event 161 Dump creation failed due to Error during dump creation - Device\HarddiskVolume6

page file size is 20gb, that is more than enough. it is on C as you say.

wonder if it help to recreate it - move it to different part of drive
go to system/settings/about
click Advanced system settings
then go to the "Advanced" tab and click the "Settings..." button in the "Performance" section.
Next click the "Advanced" tab and you should see your pagefile usage listed in the "Virtual Memory" section.
Click "Change..." to alter the settings.
untick...

one of the IT guys reported that my pc was failing to allocate memory on Windows
wonder what he means

So no whea errors in Linux?

try running Prime 95, it checks CPU & RAM - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/prime95-download.html
Prime 95 how to Guide: http://www.playtool.com/pages/prime95/prime95.html

Ran benchmarks and health tests on all of my SSDs and HDDs
what tests? if you aren't getting any dumps it could be the boot drive to blame.
is windows on the M.2? did you move or resize the page file? as that can be reason for not getting dumps

WHEA errors tend to survive reinstall since its a hardware error.

Thanks, I'll leave the software running for 24hrs

what tests?

Health, Error Scans, Benchmark, pretty much every possible test on HD Tune Pro and it reported no issues.

is windows on the M.2?

Yes, windows is installed on my M.2

did you move or resize the page file? as that can be reason for not getting dumps

My DMP file is set to %SystemRoot%\MEMORY.DMP, the file wasn't moved or resized as far as i'm concerned.

the prime 95 test creates a log file as it runs, it is in the folder you installed it to. might be stress.txt

See if anything shows in there, only since its not creating dumps. might give us a clue.

I'm pretty sure It's "results.txt", stress.txt is just file containing FAQs.

Here's what's registered within the log file:

I don't see anything significant within this log file, probably because my pc crashed before the software was able to register what went wrong.

I would like to point out that my pc crashed exactly at: 10:27 PM/ 22:27

can you run this for me, it creates a zip file. Upload it to a file sharing website and show link here
I can't promise anything, normally I send people to repair shops to figure out whea, not other way around.

I downloaded the program, but it seems like it always stuck on "Waiting for system information" whenever I attempted to run it. I used an alternative program to collect the same data, I'll be including both outputs, just be aware that some files might be missing from SysnativeFileCollectionApp.

Password for zipped files: Sysnative

untick Automatically manage paging file settings for all drives
select No paging file
click set
click ok
close out of this and restart PC

Now retrace all the steps again and tick Automatically manage paging file settings for all drives to have windows recreate it.

your headset has been crashing, its not cause of crashes, I just noticed.

I can't really answer that because I wasn't the one who ran the tests on linux, I have little to no experience on linux.

Done, I'll run Prime96 again and see if windows generates a dmp file this time.
