I turned to Grok for help with my issue to avoid troubling you all, but unfortunately, I couldn't resolve it. I had an older PC with an RTX 2070 Twin Frozr 7 GPU. Since new video cards are so expensive, I decided to upgrade other components while keeping the GPU. I went with an ASUS Prime B650-Plus motherboard, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB WD Black SN770 NVMe SSD, and an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-core CPU. After installing Windows 11 Pro, I'm encountering repeated Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) errors.
I replaced the motherboard and RAM, but the issue persisted, ruling them out as the cause. When I removed the GPU and used the onboard graphics, the system ran stably. The RTX 2070 worked perfectly in my older system, but in this new setup, it triggers BSODs. To test further, I tried an older GPU (GTX 970), and it also caused BSODs. No matter which graphics card I install, the system crashes.
This has happened with two identical motherboards and two sets of the same RAM, so I doubt those are the issue. Could the CPU be the culprit? I have a crash dump file, but I don’t know how to analyze it to pinpoint the problem. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? I'm running Windows 11 Pro.
Side note, my PSU is Thermaltake Toughpower GT 750W Snow ATX 3.1 Power Supply; 80 Plus Gold
