Im deciding whether to buy a cherry MX blue keyboard like the monoprice one, or to buy a unicomp ultra classic. I do mostly coding. But I do do definitely play tf2 and other games as well. What do you think would be better for me? Thanks!
I program myself and play games. I have a Rosewill keyboard with Cherry Blues and they work fine for both situations (especially typing). With the unicomp, I'm not sure for gaming since I've never tried them, but I bet they're awesome for typing.
The unicomps look to be built better though. Cherries might be better all round and they have a better rollover than the buckling springs. Do you think 2 key rollover is an issue with the unicomps?
yeah, 2 key rollover would definitely be an issue for some games. Some games use wasd for movement and another key to use skills; meaning you wont be able to use a skill while moving diagonal; or vice versa.
