Hi guys! I'm on a budget and planning to build a gaming rig. I'm just going to use a single monitor at 1920x1200 but wishing to use the rig for at least 5 years on highest settings possible. Can you share your thoughts on where can my rig improve?

Currently, my set up is hovering on these parts:

- Processor: Intel Core i5 4670 (is 4670K more worth it? If overclocking difference is significant when it comes to gaming, then I'll overclock.)

- Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty H87 Performance (any better alternatives?)

- GPU: R9 280x is CrossfireX. (can the cheaper GTX760 in SLI max out game settings?)

- RAM: Kingston Hyper X Beast

- Primary Drive: Intel 335 Series 80GB SSD (Is the cheaper 64GB SSD enough for OS and core applications like an antivirus?)

- Secondary Drive: 1TB

If you don't plan on overclocking, don't get the K version. For performance though, overclocking would help generally.
If you're planning to buy 280X's in Crossfire, the 760's in SLI will not out-perform them, but they might be able to reach ultra settings in games with playable frames.

The 280X alone is comparable to the 770, so running those in crossfire would make it comparable to SLI 770's. (a lot better than sli 760's)
You don't specify how much RAM you have, but I would recommend 8GB.

Also if you can, I would recommend just getting a 120+ GB SSD and putting your OS and favourite games on it. You will hold atleast 2 - 5 games depending on their size and they will run very quick.

Other than that the build looks good. Just make sure your mobo supports the same socket as the 4670 is made for.
