Budget laptop

Hello

Here for a little advice on picking up a laptop.
I'm looking to get a laptop for connecting to my car for simple data logging and such. So I don't really need anything crazy. I have a desktop that I do everything else with.
It can be new or refurbished if that is an option I would like to stay under 300 the less the better since it's not gonna be used much.
Any help is appreciated

A lot of mechanics have gotten Lenovo X and T models from me, X230 would be good and be in your price range with a good battery, maybe even a X201 for like $120, depends on the software needs.
