I have around 40€ which is around 30£. I am looking to buy a new keyboard and mouse, i was looking at both of the CM Storm gaming bundles, don't know which one is better. Are there any better options? I have a decent mouse, maybe i should spend my money on a good keyboard? Looking to buy from Amazon UK

Thank you for your suggestions, although i'd prefer a better looking mouse, and the keyboard is 50$ on Apple.com, doubt i can get it cheaper anywhere. (except fake ones from ebay)

I'll look into the Corsair K380, which CM Storm do you own? Devastator or Octane? (Devastator only blue/red LEDs, Octane 7 color LEDs)
EDIT: Can't seem to find a Corsair K380, did you mean this?

The Microsoft suggestion is junk. Their mice button switches are not reliable at all. Same goes for Coolermaster. Many of their keyboards are dying.

The Steelseries Rival 300 mouse can be had on sale at a good price and the Apex RAW keyboard as well. Both are great for their price and reliable. The mouse is amazing if you know how to set an optical mouse (laser mice are not as good at tracking). Set windows mouse speed at 0 not higher or slower so you get bit for bit tracking. Adjust speed in the mouse software from Steelseries, Logitech, etc... by lowering the DPI to 1200-1800 or whatever speed you prefer. That way windows isn't artificially skipping pixels to speed up or slow down your mouse. 1to1 pixel tracking on the monitor can only be had with the windows mouse speed set to 0 in control panel.

So setting a mouse using the above info you can see that most pro gamers in the world will use 1200-1500DPI or something near that. So picking up a mouse that claims 9600DPI and thinking it's better than another mouse that is only 6000DPI is foolish. It's advertising. You only use around 1500dpi. Some people set their mouse to 9000DPI thinking it's better then go in control panel and set windows to slow down the mouse speed. So to slow it down windows only moves the mouse curser with every 5 movements of mouse. You move the mouse and the curser doesn't move then all of a sudden it jumps. Not good.

Logitech also has some reliable gear now. Check out what's available from them.

Actually gondo, 400 dpi is where its at. Look at what pro C:S gamers use (non commissioned marketing crap by their sponsors). For World of tanks i was in top 150 of SEA server for average XP per game. Thats hard work. All on my 'leetle friend' the intellimouse, which happens to be 400 DPI.

I agree the new MS stuff is junk. The intellimouse counterfeits are better quality than real new MS stuff.

Steel series is good but short term quality. youll be replacing it in a year or two. Also the rubber wears out very quickly. Ive been using this current counterfeit for 3 years and its still as good as new.

Your suggestions are out of my budget range, thanks for them tho.
