Track driving is all about consistency. "Anyone can practice a corner over and over until they can go through it at 10/10ths. Not everyone can then continue to go 10/10ths through every other corner lap after lap and not have an off or make a mistake. That is the difference between the very best weekend track drivers and any random professional driver" -Quote from my Porsche Club track day group instructor, Barry. He happens to be a retired professional driver.

I like the track map on the steering wheel and he could have used another couple of banks of Hellas :) Great video. Thanks!

That tarmac is lethally fast, at least on gravel you are always sliding one end, the other, or both.

I still remember when Denny Hulme won there. They were brave in those days. (The still are, but the casualty rate is much reduced.)

Yeah, the Nurburgring was nicknamed the Graveyard in the 70s and 80s for a reason. Crazy stuff.

1970-1994 were my favorite years for motorsports, even if I was only alive for 2 of them. I spend hours watching old Group B rally races and F1 races from the 80s. Those were insane, as were the drivers.

OK. Back to electron wrangling. Go in early thanks end of Daylight time.

Checked out power supply and have power/voltage on 20+4, 4 ATX and SATA.

Still no dice? No fans, CPU or case from case header, and no other signs of life, except for the power LED. Didn't have time to check amperages, only voltage.

Next plan is to temporarily try the second power supply.

For F1, I prefer the mid-late sixties and early 70s, rally, all 70s. Watching the great ones blast over roads I'd run (one hell of a lot slower) was still a blast.

who I've been away for a while, and this is to much to read through haha!
nice progress though. to bad it's not working 🙁

and I saw some total overkill build! does one of the kids have a budget like that? if so...i'm jealous!

what novuake said, and after that I'd unseat the CPU and check if any of thepins in the socket are bent

well the first thing I'd do is check allt he connection, but I'm pretty sure your tried a whole lot of things already

and I was in Portugal spending time with girlfriend, so no time for other people then as I can only see her once in a while!

can youu give a quick repost of what's wrong with the PC, I remember reading it but not quite remembering it atm.
basicly the power LED was on but that's all?

and I assume you checked the power button and LED connections and all from the front panel?

When the power is on, the Power LED comes on, and nothing else happens, no fans, even the PSU fan (no CPU fan, no case fans, no HDD avtivity.)

The power on switch does nothing, shorting the power switch pins at the header does nothing. There is no header for a case speaker.

I have tested the cables from the power supply and there is voltage where there is supposed to be voltage. I have done no load tests yet.

I have bought a cheap power supply for use on a dead tower, which I can use.

Do the case fans route through the CPU? I would think that they would be run by the motherboard chipset and would power on even without a CPU. That's the way it worked in the old days.

maybe your motherboard isnt fucntioning, perhaps on of the components isnt working, I dont know the electric schematic from a motherboard, but all it takes is one damaged capacitator or something which makes your motherboard not work, if it is something. I dont know but you may want to look into that.
maybe look for some sort of layout of the motherboard and measure the voltage to see if it's comming through
