I am looking to buy parts to build a PC with a AMC processor and motherboard. I would appreciate any suggestions and or help.

I've chosen parts to build a pc under $600 which I believe should work together.

Additionally I know that the power supply I chosen comes with cables to power a ATX main power (24 pin) cable but the motherboard also claims it has a (1x 8-pin ATX 12V Power Connector). Therefore would I need to buy that separately or is it unnecessary? Also is it typically for motherboards and for computer cases to typically come with cables to connect components like a SSD Drive and possibly other components like the USB ports and the power button included on the computer case or do you usually need to buy them separately?

Don't waste money with an AMD FX build if you want AMD go for Ryzen. That PSU is also a fire hazrd and should be avoided at all costs. Yo can Pickup a Seasonic M12II 520w PSu for $54 and it's a much better quality unit and can easily power a Ryzen cpu with a RX 480.

Thanks for both of your suggestions however I'm not sure I could buy a Ryzen 5 1500x as that build it is about $200 more.
(CPU benchmark rated a Ryzen 5 1500x to be significantly better than a FX8350 however the site does claim a FX8350 has a much better CPU value for price than a Ryzen 5 1500x.) Are there any cheaper solutions for a Rayzen processor because a $200 processor is probably to much with a expensive graphics card.

Also which PSu where you referring to the SUPERNOVA 550 watt supply or a KENTEK 700 Watt 700W. If you think a 550Watt is enough I could buy that instead. Finally I was wondering if the Radeon 480 8GB graphics card would bottle neck a FX8350 or a FX6300 processor?

It has way better single core performance and in games won't be any different from the fx 8350. Also in games that only use up to 4 cores it will perform better that the 8350.

The am3 platform is dead and the fx 8350 is a 5 year old cpu it really isn't worth investing in and with this new intel platform you have the option to get a better cpu later down the line.

The 520w PSU that I posted would be fine in most system with an RX480. That 550w EVGA Supernova is easily a much much better PSU, that kentek is garbage.

In most games the $60 Intel G4560 will beat the 8350. AM3+ is a dead platform and has not been a good buy for awhile now.

That CPU benchmark is a very poor one to use for gaming comparison, the vast majority of games rely more on faster cores rather than more cores, which is why a quad core(or even dual core with hyperthreading) Intel cpu beats them. You also have to figure in the cost of the motherboard. If you try and run a 125w FX on a cheap board with weak and or uncooled VRMs you are going to run into VRM throttling(even at stock speeds). Current info has Ryzen 5 cpus starting at $160 to $170 for a quad core(4core/8 thread). They release in 3 days(Apr 11). If you feel you must Build an AMD rig go with Ryzen. Yes a FX8350 can bottleneck a RX 480.

Possibly under $800. Also would these parts proposed by Jwcrellin include all necessary components to build a pc and would they be fully compatible? ( Assuming I replaced the GeForce card for a (ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon Rx 480 8GB OC Edition card)

This is my first time building so I was wondering if you usually need buy cables to connect components like the SSD drive and if you would need to buy a wifi card to or any other components you need excluding the mouse, keyboard and monitor of course.

Finally I was wondering how the (ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon Rx 480 8GB OC Edition) graphics card would perform with the AMD Ryzen 5 1600, AMD FX-9590 Eight-Core, and the Ryzen 5 1500x. Which if any would limit the performance of or bottleneck the card?

The fx 9590 was a horrible idea cpu so skip that. However I would recommend a i5 7400 or up as intel still has better single core performance which is very important for games. If you do want to go amd just get a ryzen 1600 or 1500x (whichever one is cheaper). Do note that the intel one will be better in games that only use 4 cores (90% of them) but ryzen will be better in more multi core heavy games (very few atm).

I currently have a good processor the i3-3240 3.4Ghz cpu and a Radeon HD 6450 my graphics card runs most games with low frame rates on low settings at 100% utilization so I was wondering if getting a ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon Rx 480 8GB OC Edition and a Ryzen 5 1500x (only .5 GHZ faster) would make a large difference and would I be able to run most games on high settings with high frame rates?

Its a good build however with ryzen you want faster ram (look at a list online which ones are the best with ryzen) because it actually matters with them. I still advice for an intel build if gaming is the primary objective.

(Assuming that I probably don't actually need 16GB I was considering getting a cheap and fast 8GB memory)

Unfortunately I cannot not afford to spend more than $75 on memory unless I spend less on something else, I found these two 8GB total DDR4 memory units. I have a very tight budget for sure under $800 max and could end up under $600. I was considering two options getting a ryzen build for $800 budget and a fx for $600 budget.
