Build Advice Building a new system with some old parts finding a new life

SO I have this build.

In addition to these parts, I will be adding in my current GTX 1070 8GB card and a bunch of SSDs for storage. I may connect my old optical drive as well, but TBD. I have nice, quiet case fans that will be repurposed as well, and may even add a few.

My main questions are compatibility between MOBO, PSU, AIO, and all the connections. I feel reasonably good about the CPU and RAM.

Thank you for the input. I should have mentioned that the case will not be changing. Why did you go with the i7 8700k vs. the i5 9600k? Also, I will be using liquid cooling over air cooling.

The 8700k will give you better performance in CPU intensive tasks, and will last you way longer than the 9600k.

This is for gaming only, and it looks like the specs for single core are pretty equal between the two. I'm having a tough time thinking the extra $100 is worth it for my specific use. If you have any other data you can link, that would be great.

I was referring to CPU intensive games as well, which are becoming increasingly common, specially the multiplayer ones. But the 9600k is good as well.
